Build a like-for-like measurement note.
- Identify the exact cut, color and size option; different listings may use different charts.
- Ask whether chest and waist figures are circumferences or flat widths. Record the units.
- Lay a suitable garment flat and compare the relevant chest, length, sleeve and shoulder measurements using the same endpoints.
- Decide which measurement matters most for your intended fit. Ask about that measurement if the chart is missing or unclear.
Separate fit evidence from fabric claims.
A photo can show a label or visible surface. It cannot confirm fiber composition, shrinkage, colorfastness or how the garment feels after washing.
For a set, establish whether the price and size selection cover both pieces. For a jacket, check whether measurements include removable layers.
Make an actionable QC request.
Instead of asking whether the item is good, ask for the selected size tag and one flat measurement with the full tape visible. Name the endpoints so the image answers your actual question.
If measurements differ from the listing, ask for clarification and the current return procedure while the item is still eligible. We cannot establish a universal return deadline.

Is chest width the same as chest circumference?
No. Flat width and circumference describe different measurements. Ask which method the chart uses before comparing values.
Can QC confirm how a fabric will wash?
No. Warehouse photos do not establish shrinkage, colorfastness or durability after washing.
